What a stunner! This Mid-Century Modern wishbone corner table was crafted by Heywood Wakefield in Gardner, MA between 1954-1955, in the height of the era. It bears the model number M938, though others in the same style are often stamped M338 or M338G. This model is in the Wheat Finish, but can also be found in a Champagne Finish. Retains original Heywood Wakefield eagle stamp, manufacturer number, and stain class, all found on the table's underside. 

The two-tier design and arched legs are signature features of the brand, and the solid maple wood construction has stood the test of time. Made to fit in a room corner or as the jointing piece between an L-shaped furniture arrangement.

Great vintage condition within minor wear and tear consistent with age.
